Where are the classes?
Classes run from two locations:
- Northeast Pilates in the M1 Business Park, Mell, Drogheda. We are located above the Vodafone, enter via the LaNu staircase and we are the first door on the left.
- Slane Parochial Hall, located on Chapel St at the intersection. The door will be open if we are inside, if it is closed please knock and wait. Please bring your own mat when joining a class in Slane.
I've never done Pilates before, are these classes suitable for me?
We aim to make our classes accessible for everyone. Options are provided throughout the class to make it suitable for beginners or challenge those who need it. Detailed explanations are always given and questions throughout are welcomed.
I have an injury/long-term ailment, can I still participate?
We always go on a case-by-case basis, but for most people if you have been medically cleared for exercise the class can be modified so that it will help you regain your strength and mobility without worsening your injury. We require that you fill out a health questionnaire prior to participating and your instructor will discuss any issues with you.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made online or in-person with cash or card. All sessions are Pay As You Go.
What is Mindful Movement?
Mindful Movement is the term I use to describe some of my classes - it encapsulates my training in Yoga, Pilates, Dance and Fitness instruction and gives me the freedom to lead you through wonderfully beneficial movement without being constricted to the confines of just one movement philosophy. If you enjoy Yoga and Pilates classes, you will love Mindful Movement.
What is card pulling?
Card pulling refers to the practice of selecting a tarot or oracle card and receiving an associated message. We will occasionally use it for meditation or journal prompts, or simply as something think about.
